Port Overview
Chittagong Port is the major seaport of Bangladesh. It provides amajor gateway for the country's trade with the outside world. During 2007 Chittagong port handled 30.08 million metric tons of cargo including 958,020 TEUs containerised cargo which is around 92% of of total maritime trade of Bangladesh.
